Being Positive

-:VB:-

All of us want to be positive now don't we?
We all want to be the happy go lucky people that we see around us all the time. We look at them and go "I wish my life could be like theirs" "I wish I could be happy..." and what not.

We all think that what we are living right now isn't what we deserve. We deserve something better.
Why shouldn't we? We have worked sooo hard to be where we are today, so why doesn't life treat us in that manner?
Don't most of us think this way?

In a sad and down state of mind, how many haven't thought of what would this world be like if you weren't simply born? And that the world maybe would've been a better place?

We all know that all of this is a negative aspect of our life that we can never run from. But that doesn't mean that you can't be positive.

It's simple. Really. Be content with what you have.
That's right.

Don't worry about the future, it'll happen when it has to happen. There's nothing you can do to change your past. (Fact: Time machines are not for real)
What has passed has passed. Your life, your bad decisions, the opportunities, the hard earned chances... All of it is gone. What can you do about it? Nothing!
Why cry over that stuff? You've learned a lesson haven't you? Or are you that stupid to understand what happened?
Think over it. Work over it. And most importantly, get over with it.
You have to move on. I'm not saying you shouldn't grieve, but it doesn't mean that your life has ended. We all are brave. But keep that experience in your head, and one day when you least expect it, it'll come handy, and you'll be proud of yourself.

All those broken relationships, those bad business choices, those moments when you were broken, those guilts, those failures.... all of this happens to everyone.

You feel like you are not pretty or handsome?
You feel like everything wrong is happening because of you?
You feel like all the problems come only to you?
-- Welcome to the club!
It's not only you, it happens to those whom you want to be as happy as too. It's only that they have the courage to hold it in, to understand and most of all wear a smile and be happy as if nothing happened.
Many have emerged from the deepest points of life - from rags to riches, from death to life, and from failures to achievers. Why should you be any different?
The planet is full of people, you have years to live, places to go, things to experience, events to witness...don't let anything drag you down, don't let anyone tell you anything any different.

In some cases life isn't as thankful as others.
Don't think when you're going to die for God's sake. The internet is full of that crap. It "claims" to tell you the time of your death, your wedding... and I dunno what not. This leads to curiosity doesn't it? I mean I've been checking these clocks all the time... but not to be sad about it, but because I feel it is funny that we need a program to tell us when we are going to live or die, we need it to make life decisions for us? Come On!!!

We have a short life.
Literally. It's not possible to estimate your time on this planet, but the why worry about that?
Why think about dying when you have a chance to live?

Life is like a Pizza.. that is what I BELIEVE it is... an assorted one.
Some slices are better than the others, some suck, some have extra cheese, some are delicious, some are bland, some are pretty and some are dull.
- Just like life, different moments, different experiences.

When you eat a pizza, which is already ordered, do you waste it? No. You eat it. Why? Because it is the right thing to do... (that.. and you paid for it too...)
- No matter what you have to live your life... because it's the right thing to do.

If there's some leftover food in kitchen, and you have a pizza in front of you, what do you eat? The Pizza of course!
- You have the power to make a choice.

You can cut more slices out of a Pizza. Not necessary to eat it the way the restaurant tells you to.
- Make your own decisions, but most importantly do what is right.

Pizza has many slices not only one. Why? So that it can be shared.
- You won't get people eager to meet you. You have to get out there and meet people, make friends. They'll be the ones who'll be a part of your slice... part of your Pizza called life, and you'll be a part of their life too.

But unlike a Pizza, you cannot choose life. Life chooses you!

Boy... so many things a Pizza can teach you indeed!

Jokes apart...

Life.
And it's up to you to live up to it. Living is a challenge. Don't you agree?
With all that everyday struggle and those tears, those problems, doesn't life actually challenge you?

Don't you feel like replying to it?
Don't you feel like saying this to life:
"Not matter what you do, I'm not losing. I'll win.
Hit me... I dare you. Hit me with all you got!
I'll smile forever, I'll be happy. You cannot make me go away.
I'll work so hard, I'll compel you to reward me.
I won't worry, I won't cry... I'll face you, and I sure as hell won't die!"

Be content.
Be brave.
Smile.
Learn.
Begin from the start every day.
Respect everyone.
Do not fear.
Be thankful for whatever you have.
Work hard and smart.
Face challenges.
Bear no guilt.
Have no regrets.
- For being positive these are the secrets.

Be Positive! (And I don't mean the blood group...)  ;)

Time will prevail

-:VB:-

What is time exactly?
I don't want the definition. I want the meaning of what time is.
For me time is a countdown right from the moment we are conceived to the time that we die.
From the moment we are born, it's always 'Tick-Tock' for us.

Counting down everyday, with every living breath. It is surely worth noticing how life boosts our morale by firstly nurturing us, letting us grow from feeble bodied innocent little beings to the grown up intelligent beings that we are - and then lets us go....

We begin our lives learning and experiencing love and happiness, which later mean not much to anyone. After that life is just a daily struggle for keeping you and your family alive. Every day is a task to stay alive.
You run after everything in your life. You run after what you want, what you need and why? Because you won't get it served on a silver platter.

Where does time fit in all this you wonder? Time has all the strings in its hands.
Today it is you who is late for office, college or school. What are you tyring to do?
Catching up with time.

You are trying to constantly running after time. You do not have a few moments to spare for a long lost fellow friend you just met on your way to your office, coz you'll miss your train, or miss your flight. You are afraid you might be punished or fired. All that stress really makes you blind towards all the good things in life. You just say 'Hi' to that friend and leave. It is only after some time has passed that you'll realise that you won't be meeting them ever again. You have to live with this regret.

Today we are so dependent on time that we have stopped living.
8pm? Time for the FIFA world cup.
12pm? Time to sleep
7am? $hit I'm late for work.
6pm? I'm gonna miss my train home
8pm? Dinner. I don't have time. Takeout it is.

I mean... isn't this the daily routine that we follow?
On a Sunday morning, we are like: "Just lemme sleep for God's sake! It's a Sunday"

It is at times like these that we even forget our family.
Whenever our parents call us, what do we do?
"I'm busy. Sorry I can't talk" or "Whatever you have to say, say it fast" or you simply speak rudely!
What the hell did they ever do wrong to you?
Are they all that bad only for being concerned about your well being? We all have time to spare for watsapping our friends and yet we don't have time for this?

The point is, we live in crazy times.
Today  punctuality can be seen in the museums - it is ancient - a thing of the past.
All of us are either slow, or running behind time, but none are with time.
We spend hours chatting on our computers and iphones but we do not have time to meet anyone?
We can play candy crush but cannot call our loved ones and say something as simple as a 'Hi'?
We have time for watching movies and TV, but not for someone who needs your help?
We shop for hours at the mall, but we don't have time to talk to our parents?

We have had to create machines to maintain our lives and to teach us how to live, apps to help us organize...
We need watches to keep track of time. I mean really... WTH!
You think money is precious? Try 'Time'. It is the most valuable resource in a world deprived of time. 24 hours are not enough for people. A lifetime is not enough for people. They would do anything at all to grip hold that time.

A day has 24 hours.
How much time does it take to dial a number and talk to someone? With the so called smart phones and skype and chatting services, I still doubt anyone maintains relations with their loved ones.
How much time does it take to meet up a friend or a relative at their place, or simply hangout someplace?
In those 24 hours can't you find time to spare?

Also, it is true that everyone has bitterness in their lives, spoiled relations with people who don't matter, hurt people who are a part of your lives for only some time, and all that enmity and anger... All that for what?
This lifetime will end at the time the least when you expect it to.What will you do with all that regret, anger, frustration and hate? Achaar daaloge?

It'll all be over in a jiffy perhaps. And with your life flashing in front of your eyes, what do you want to see? All this hate and psychosis and madness? Or a lifetime worth remembering and not regretting at all?

Time has and is will always be there. Nothing is stronger in this existence that is stronger than time.
You may learn it the hard way.

Time was there before the universe. It's been there through the birth of galaxies. It's been there when life started. Who knows till when it might exist? You have one shot at this life. At an average of 80 years of life, can't you do something good to this world? To hell with the world, can't you do something for yourself at the least?

Time gives a tiny itsy-bitsy moment, a glimpse of this massive gigantic universe that it commands to you - to live for a jiffy. And what do you do in that jiffy? Some bloody massacre entire species, kill, hurt, spread misery for the times to come. Some spread happiness, love, joy and knowledge. Some aren't lucky enough to be a part of this whole melodrama.

Why not live this jiffy - of average 80 years - in a manner that everyone whose lives you touched remember you at their last moments, and be glad that they ever met you....

Heartbreaks, Breakups and the Aftermath

-:VB:-

Sure you would be interested in reading this now, wouldn't you?
Everyone has been through such experiences. Don't deny it. Embrace it.

Now, a heartbreak simply doesn't mean breaking off with your BF or your GF. It can also mean sadness, grief or distress. But since the word involves 'Heart', humanity thought it would be better to link it all with "LOVE". :P

Heartbreaks - I'm not all that into the BF GF stuff and all. And I really don't think about venturing so far, after learning from the experiences of my dear friends. Everyone of them has had their fair share of ups and downs resembling the share market stocks, and very very few, minuscule relations have succeeded. The rest ended breaking up, or fighting, or simply going silent. But the worst part of all were the 'Heartbreaks'

I'll begin with our friends facing a breakup - the aftermath.
Everyone deals with breakups in their own ways. Plus, it is Gender free! ;)

The Gollum-ists
This is the worst condition anyone has ever seen their friends in. Boys and Girls simply crying to the point where they start looking like Gollum. Some who are not ready to forget it actually become Gollum, and keep quoting "My Precious"...
Party-timers
There are those who rejoice because now they are free, this is something they desired for a long time, but couldn't escape the clutches of their partner. They party hard the night of the breakup and the next morning, the Hunting party is back in the jungle.

The Glad ones!
Some are just glad that it broke off, because they did not know of any other way to do so themselves. They were just too scared of what would happen if they broke it off. They are very happy on the inside, but feel it is better not to express it. They just like to go with the flow. they don't question anything, and simply walk away.

The 'Depressionists"
Boy, these ones will make you feel like committing suicide. Everything is negative to them after a breakup. they feel as if the world is ending and nothing can be done to stop it. They go all 'cuckoo' and speak things that will make even a saint hit their faces. They stop speaking to people and go Blitzkrieg on anyone who talks to them. It seems like this is how philosophy came into existence.

The Drinkers! - Not the water type
These are the worst ones. since they lack the courage to face the challenges life offers them, they get drunk till they can drink no more. Anything alcoholic will work for them. In their dizzy state of mind, they do repulsive things like calling up their now- exes and crying over the phone, or hurling abuses, or sending texts, and sometimes even dropping by their doorsteps to express their feelings, or simply show up where they work to make their lives miserable.
Some even drink as a way to rejoice!
Emos
These are pretty people with serious emotional issues! They are very and believe me when I say this: Very very sentimental about their relations. Even if you go on for a breakup, it would take the courage of a thousand Lions to say no to their puppy eyes, and cuty faces. They don't utter a word, just shed a couple tears, and behave as if there is a storm surging inside them. But then, they are always like that.
if they are not at terms with the breakup, they will constantly question you and make you feel like a ghost is questioning you as to why you murdered him!

The Blackmailers
Now these are a true challenge! If one of these is your now-ex, then you are in some deep trouble indeed. The type goes on to spoil your future relationships. They stalk you, follow you, keep a daily check on you, and when the moment is right - BAM! They spill out details of your breakup to your new partners - and don't expect ANY word of it to be true. They just want you to suffer. Some are "Good Blackmailers", who without hurting your relationship, will blackmail you to return to them and threaten your so called love life!

Why Me's!
The only way these types deal with breakups is by eating. All they do is eat. Seems silly.. right?
Why?
Because apparently, some research proved that eating gets you out of depression... Fools!
So, they go all Yokozuna on themselves. Every time you meet them, you are like:
"What is this building blocking by view?.... Oh it's you standing in front of me..." ;)
They sit at home and chomp down everything that is humanly digestible.
They watch heartbreak moves, and listen to sad sad songs, and play video games. Numerous other things, like speaking to their pets, drama in real life, writing or singing sad songs, going out of contacts with any and everyone because they hate the world, and much much more make them a 'Why Me'.

Headbanger
These are the ones who need want to cut off from this world. So, what better way to keep you out rather than listening to music? Nowadays, the noise cancellation headphones are a favourite amongst everyone. I mean why not?
Who wants to listen to what the world has to say? I'm so smart, I don't give a damn about anyone... I'll just put on my headphones, switch on my Heavy Metal music, turn the volume all the way up to the point where my head resembles a Resonance Experiment and walk on heavy traffic laden streets. Turn my head around and be like: "Aw crap that bus is gonna hit me"
These types listen to lot of Rock n Roll, Heavy Metal, go all Gothic and Black. They constantly listen to such music at deafening levels, and always stay away from the crowd. They are the ones whom no one misses when they are not around. Often seen as an isolated creature from the herd, who considers him/her self, and 'Ugly Duckling'

The Formals
These behave as if everything is a corporate meeting.
Their conversation goes like this:
"We should breakup"
"We are not able to give enough time to each other, and it is only in our better interests if we move on."
"Yes. We should. We can never be friends again, and we will never cross each others paths again Okay?"
"Okay."
"Goodbye"
It is like the love story of two rocks. There are absolutely no feelings involved on either sides. It is like those movies that come to a movie theater near you, and go away, then they return on TV, on DVD, on BLU Ray, and even on VOD - but you have never heard about it. This is like that. Who, what when, how and why? No one knows.

The Casuals
These are the most silly and seemingly laughable ones because it all ends like a joke, but for the ones going through this phase it is quite serious. There is a lot of melodrama involved. One is weeping and the other is trying to calm them. Talks on how it did not work out, why it has to be done, what has to be done now, why can't the relationship continue - are what follow.
There is a lot of rattle, lot of sadness and anger expressed. In coping with the situation, both end up arguing and fighting with friends, and some even land up being alone.
Entire days and nights of phone calls, texts, pings, and meetings take place before it all is finally over.
None of them both is ever as pissed off as the common friend, who has to be at the receiving ends.
It especially sucks if you are friends with both of them.

The Gandalfs
Mostly a Boy type! These are the ones who after going through a rough patch or a breakup, go on for days into isolation. They are facebook and twitter free, away from civilisation, in a far unknown world. When they come out into the open, they have a long beard which they proudly flaunt in the society. They dress in drabs, speak in a sorcery tone, and when someone mentions love or relationship, he's like:

Over The Phone
This is now turning into a trend. Everyone thinks about breaking up on the phone. Some are coward enough to breakup over as an SMS. I mean, this is a relationship for Gods sake, not a caller tune subscription. It's not like if you want to unsubscribe say 'It's over' and then move on. Be brave enough to face your partner before this. If you cannot foster a relation, at least don't spoil someones life.Sure enough, the one on the other side is confused as hell, and demands an explanation. This leads to more frustration and anger.
Seriously avoid this.

These are some of the common ones that I have witnessed and observed during my course of life.
All of this is no joke. This is just my version of it.

At times, things get pretty serious. It is really difficult to get over this, as it takes a toll on many. Many get over things easily, but for others it is a scar for a lifetime, they never get over it. Things get really sad and awful at times as well. But, remember it is all a learning process. Life is not over. You still have a long way ahead (unless you are 100 years old).

Friends are the best way around this. They will help you get through the emotional roller coaster ride, without a glitch. They will be your salvation, they will be there for you, if they are true.

Hope you can relate to this, and enjoyed reading it.

Smarter than a Dumb Human

-:VB:-

This post is exactly about what it sounds like. Mobile phones... or should I say "smart phones".
Gone are the days of the wired phones my friends (except the developing countries). Everything's pretty much wireless these days.

Almost everyone has a cell phone, call rates are affordable - thanks to the competitive companies, high speed bandwidths are accessible, and what not. For some, it is a medium of communication, for some it is about their social networking and for some it is all about work.

Since the QWERTY keypads and the flip phones, whooda thunk that there'd be touch screen tech out there as well. Today, we are surrounded by such phones and gadgets that have made things easier for us.
This leads us to the concept of 'Smart phones'

Let's just think back for a moment.
Now everyone out there was sooo excited about the new iphone 5S coming out, but people did not have a clue what was different from the previous versions. They only wanted and iphone, regardless of the hardware they are getting.

So, in a smart phone, the hardware is the real deal, as well as the software.
But, to many, it doesn't matter coz all they wanna do is brag around everyone with their branded phones and swish it around saying "I got a smart phone, I got a smart phone, nya nya nya nya na...." and all that crap.
Oooh look at me, I got an iphone!
I own a smart phone!

Many don't even know the meaning of these words.
"Smart phones"?
Seriously? Couldn't they have come up with something... say... smarter? Many wonder why they are called so.
The wikipedia definition is:
A smartphone (or smart phone) is a mobile phone with more advanced computing capability and connectivity than basic feature phones.

Smart phones are meant to make your job easier, as they are mini-me versions of computers, their fast racing quad cores, octa cores, gbs of data storage, bandwidths and RAM, many gigahertz speeds scenario makes up today's digital age. They are made to works as computers without being one, at affordable prices, with mobility and calling factors at their behest.

And what do people do with them?
--They play 'Candy Crush', 'Flappy Bird', 'Subway surfer' and what not! What the hell!
Why didn't you buy a PSP for god's sake? That would've been cheaper and better, than spending thousands for some functions you don't even know exist in your phone.

--If you  wanna spend bucks for only Talking or texting, and not using other functions, why not buy a keypad phone for a couple of hundred bucks?
But the fact stands that people don't know how to use a smartphone. Many don't even have what they want to buy, and why they want to buy it.
They buy a high end smartphone, and what do they do with it? Play flash games, text and call, the usual stuff. But shouldn't they be using the other functions which made the phone cost so much? Like the documents viewers, and the readers, and the editing supports, the ram-crunching business apps... and what not!

Today we have phones that are not only a piece of technology, but every piece is a masterpiece in itself. every bit of technology is a revolution. Be it from something as small as a flash drive, right up to a music player.
This is an age of smart phones.

What I want to say is - Phones are becoming smarter and people are becoming dumber with every passing day.
Look at yourself today.
Do you remember a single number from your phone directory?
Do you even know your own phone number?
When was the last time you even read a physical book. I mean literally held it in hands?
Or read a newspaper for that matter?
When was the last time you actually wrote to someone?
When was the last time you pressed a button on a phone or dialed a number?
When did you last go through lots of books and magazines and newspaper articles for your projects for hours just to get a pic, or a clipping or a report?

I know. It is tough to answer.
With smartphones, all these questions sound weird, and why not coz we never think about them, about how much easier our lives are today.
We've got apps for so many things.
Don't know a song? App for it.
Shopping? App for it.
Recipes for cooking? App for it as well.
Learning? App for it too.
News, music, videos, live feeds, games and what not. Everything is at our fingertips... literally.

As a matter of fact, phones are much smarter than us now. We share all our intimate secrets online, on chat windows, on our profile pages, on social networking sites, personal info about our lives, etc.

Our phone holds all of our accounts, and we are logged into each one all the time. Our banking info, our email i.d., our passwords, our pics... and the latest....  Biometrics!
It even tracks where we are, where we were, where we are going, where we are headed, the elevations, what we are eating, how much we walked, our heartbeats, and what not.
Our pics, videos, and the geological tags, auto recognition, face recognition, auto login features, voice recordings, your chat histories, browsing history, which direction your phone is in, how fast are you traveling, etc. etc.
Our mobile backups and data stored online across multiple websites - all in one place.
Search engines like Google even auto-suggest what you are trying to find based on your search history.
Some people can't even calculate properly. And there are apps for that as well - Basic calculators and Scientific calculators.
Anyone heard of Abacus? Well, there's an app for that too.
Now  tell me a single person capable of doing all this. Let alone the games and other features.

None!
So correct me if I am wrong in saying that Phones are becoming smarter and humans are becoming dumber.

Don't tell me that it is humans who made the phones, coz it wasn't all of us. It was those few who learnt to use their brains in the correct manner and gain from it. They all know their work by heart. How much do we all even remember what we have learned?

It is now up to the existing humans to take a step ahead from this towards making us brighter and smarter... not dumber. We don't want apps and machines to correct us someday do we?
Meanwhile in some parts of the world, wars are raging, battles are going on, people being killed, the ecology being threatened....
And what do we do? Comment, share, like? That's it?
Take a step to improve this world. To improve your life and others around you. You have a device capable of saving thousands or even millions of lives, capable of making you heard.

Humans will never be dumb. We can never be. Even a lunatic has a basic understanding of this world.
I simply hope we don't turn out to be idiots by the turn of this century.
Maybe we will be smarter than our phones someday....

Orphans

-:VB:-

Parents mean a world to all  of us. We are always under their wings, tucked away in their arms, protected from this world, away from harm's way, and most important of all dependent on them.

It has been almost everyone's experience that it would have been really hard to stand up for yourself without your parents help. Their support and motivation means a lot to us. Many consider this a science of passing down our experiences down generations. But in the end, no matter what, we all know deep down inside that it is those two people - our parents who make all the difference in the world to us.

Most often I am reminded of my visit to an orphanage along with a few friends some years ago. We dropped by during a trip because none of us had been to an orphanage before. It was a small house that had all these little boys and girls bursting with excitement that someone was visiting them.We chatted with them, played some games, and had fun. I still remember their faces gleaming with happiness.

On our way out, I just could not stop thinking about what the kids were going to do when we left. It was at that moment that I froze. Everything seemed just so messed up. Here we all are laughing, ignoring, arguing, enjoying with our parents and there they are living their lives doing some odd chores for an NGO so they could at least provide for themselves. Children with either a devastated history, or an unknown origin, or an abandoned past. Some rescued from death while some saved from the dark clutches of this world.

This was one place... there are so many like this on this planet! We were only there for a few hours, and these kids have spent their entire lives here. It was at that very moment it dawned upon me, that these kids had nowhere else to go to... THIS WAS THEIR HOME!

It all is just so wrong! We all have lived, had fun, had sadness and shared all those emotions with our parents who were always there by our side, motivating us, supporting us. We have a shoulder to cry on, a couple of angels to turn to who just smile and all the troubles in this world seem to disappear. What did these kids do to deserve this?

Fate? Cut that crap out... I'd say if you don't have the heart of a human or a spirit or even a bit of humanity - why the hell do you bring these innocent little kids into this world? To destroy their lives? It is really sad knowing that someone would drop these kids off or abandon them or even leave them to die. I pity such people...

What gives a right to these people to devoid these kids of their lives and names... and most importantly a family and a future? While everyone else takes their parents for granted, these children don't even know what parents are. They are devoid from the MOST IMPORTANT relation in this world. Why does this happen? What happened to this world?

It is said that God dwells in children. Maybe that is why these kids have so much strength and energy in them than any of us with privileges. Sometimes I am thankful that these kids are far from this society, from the claws of this humanity. They are still unfamiliar to this world where even death comes at a price.

I however salute those who run these orphanages! They are doing a commendable job for these kind souls. They raise these kids as their own, give them a life, feed them, give them a shoulder to stand on, and even give the kids a name of their own - an identity as to who they are in this world.

It is at times like these that I wish that life treated everyone equally - not in the sense of power and money, but with regards to love, happiness, relations and most important of all - Parents!

Those people that have/had parents looking after themselves are/were really lucky.

I don't say anything to anyone that might hurt people...
But, for the children who disowned their parents or left them to suffer or die.... are special. I'd like to tell them this:
"Screw you..."

History forgets the blood

-:VB:-

I really get thinking when I listen to this quote:
"History remembers the battle, but forgets the blood"

How true it is, is no surprise at all. What do we all remember from whatsoever we have learnt from history?
- Of course - the battles, the wars, the rebellions and everything else, except for the blood that was spilt just so that all of us could breathe free today.

I'm not saying you never thought of those who are no longer amongst us. I think they are not given any credit for this.

According to me, War or a Battle or whatever - Is not the fight of each and every being. It has always been about one person. It has always been about who is superior! It is all about showing your strength. These so called leaders led their own countries to their own demise.

All those soldiers who left their lives only to serve death, to be punished, to fight for a cause they thought was for the sake of humanity - all of them are lost somewhere in this world. Numerous lives and sacrifices - all in the name of a country - now lost in the pages of history. How many people do you think have given their lives for their country? Millions and billions perhaps? Are all of them remembered? Are any of them remembered?

Then who are remembered?
- I'll tell you.
Their leaders! It's true. Pick up any page from history. Everyone knows the leaders who fought for their country, who led people on a right path, who changed the course of history - and rightfully so... they deserve it. These leaders showed the right path, were a perfect example, ideals for the society
But are their followers remembered? Are all those soldiers, or disciples, or the fellow members remembered?
No!
Why is it so?

I believe that: A follower  makes someone a leader!

Does the life of a living and breathing human mean nothing at all?
It's just that everyone wants to forget it... like all of it never happened!
Hasn't humanity stooped low enough already, that we don't even bother to remember the victims?

For example, when a certain Harbour was attacked. No debates here, but the opposite country did reply with two A-bombs.
There could have been a solution to all of this instead of cremating entire cities to flaunt your strength! One could have been the saint! One of them could have behaved like a MATURE ADULT. But, both turned out to be the opposite.
Their greed and hunger for power drove them insane to a point where they literally obliterated the world.

All those innocents, on both sides lost to a cause that they were not supposed to be a part of. they were just ordinary people not giving a damn about this power-sucking-egoistic world.
There are soldiers to fight wars - in case you didn't know!

Instead of sitting like cowards in your comfort zones and controlling a fleet of planes, or dropping a bomb - is that how you want history to remember you?

I am toooo feeble of a person to understand the vastness that these events hold! But those whom we have selected are at the top for a purpose - to make the right decisions, to do what is rightful. Not go bananas and let your ego get the better of you.

Now if there is terrorist attack, does the world know whose lives were lost? Who were those innocent bystanders or civilians, or tourists? Does anyone remember their names or where they were from?
No one does. It's all in your head for a couple of days.

But - Who did it? Who was the terrorist? What was his organization? Where did he come from?
You know his entire life like the back of your hands. .
Why? Because the attack is much more dramatic to us, than a bunch of people losing their lives.

Tomorrow even if one of us dies... suppose we are among a handful of people attacked, no one will ever remember us! But the attacker will become an icon and his name will echo through the planet and through the afterlife as well.

We know all the wars that have ever been fought for our countries or for the sake of humanity or against evil doers. How many memorials or sites do you know that respect or honour the ones lost for these causes? For the ones who gave up their souls fighting? For those who were not a part of it, just people like us? There are hardly a few of such places where the blood is remembered than the battle.

Today when we look back at our history lessons - We are all ashamed at what had happened then. We feel if there was a way we could have stopped it. But instead the world is not ready to look back into the past. Nobody wants to learn from these so called "historic" events.

We all know about the school shootings that happened, the serial killers and their nicknames,  the terrorist attacks, etc. But no one knows about the good soldiers who just died so that you could have a bloody peaceful sleep. How many of us remember any of those people who were innocently killed? None of us do! I mean what in blazes is wrong with this planet?

Not only now, but even in the near future, it was, is and will be the same. Everyone will remember the battles, but no one will remember the blood.
The sacrificed will be the forgotten, the sacrificer will just be another lost name, the martyrs will be the unknowns and the innocents will be just another brick in the wall.

We don't know $hit to be frank! We only believe what history tells us.
And what history has to tell us is a real downer.

It is sad to go through all of this. Even in this age, we are facing countries that are at war, other countries trying to cash in for benefits, some trying to flame the fire for their needs, and what not. Why? Who is going to remember any of you? Only the ones holding your puppet-strings will ever be remembered.

We all will be forgotten. All that will ever be remembered are these battles!

Quality - The Need For Quality

-:VB:-

Quality is mandatory these days! It  has become sort of a "dogma" in this age.

Each and everything that is manufactured today has one or the other regulatory body that governs the functioning of such organisations and keeps strict vigil over evildoers. Certifications definitely seal their fate.

In a way, it is not the necessity of the government; It is an essential requirement for the people of today. The rapidly developing world has acquired a sense of perhaps self-righteousness that has allowed the Quality industry to boom to the top. With the laws in place and governments around the world supporting this movement, Quality Control and Quality Assurance are the most valued assets of any company these days.
You can sense awareness within the minds of people about the quality of life they are leading. People nowadays are conscious about hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness. The amount of hand sanitizers, sanitary wipes, and God knows what else is out in the stores; numerous products which no one could have thought would be in so much demand today. Why is this so?

With many people getting educated and the spread of mass media across the globe, it is becoming important to come up with practices that will make the customers believe that whatever they are spending their hard earned money on isn't just some roadside rubbish. Obviously... there simply wouldn't be any sense in buying something at four or five times costlier if it is available locally - cheap and of poor quality.

Companies these days are very worried about the quality of their products, because a single case of negligence may cost them their company's future. They are coming up with better standards and methods to prolong their existence. You can see companies trying to outdo each other in efforts to acquire a better name for themselves.
I do agree that Quality comes at a price. It is very difficult to adhere to the regulations once you establish them. But follow them you must!

Because if the customer doesn't believe in your product firsthand, then boy you are in a lot of trouble...
You will lose your customers, clients, distributors, etc.
It is like a pile of falling dominoes. One falls, the rest follow suit.

It is just like the saying goes:
For the want of a nail a shoe was lost,
For the want of a shoe a horse was lost,
For the want of a horse the army was lost,
For the want of an army the battle was lost,
and for the want of a battle a Kingdom was lost!

Are we using Alien Tech today? #5

-:VB:-

Previous

So, are we really using Alien Tech today?
Depends on how you want to look at it.

You can turn a blind eye towards all of this, and go back to playing Candy Crush on your iPhones. Or, you can think over it, and maybe for once you might actually see what is happening around you.

All these advancements are maybe a false predicament. Maybe the governments of this world are  trying to fool you into believing that they are really this much powerful. But, if they are so powerful, how did events like Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings happen? How in the name of God did humans go from TNT sticks to Nuclear power all of a sudden?

How did the Chernobyl disaster happen? If we create something, we have the capacity to stop it. How could this have not been prevented?

How did the Hubble telescope get to be so powerful that it can view galaxies light years away from us? We are struggling to work at the Nano-level, and at the Genetic-level but we can see very bright and clearly into the vast emptiness of space with accuracy and sharpness.
What are the possibilities of this happening?

Maybe we might learn the truth about all of this, and maybe we'll never be able to get the facts straight.
But, we can always keep our mind open to the possibility of this happening.

All we have to do till then is keep searching for answers to questions that we are unsure of, for events we cannot map, for times we cannot calculate, for history that we cannot justify, and for proof that that we are most uncertain about.

All this to understand something, for answers which we may never get...

That concludes this string of posts.

Are we using Alien Tech today? #4

-:VB:-

Previous

Moving onto more advancements.

LHC - The Large Hadron Collider, can create conditions that precede the formation of the universe itself.
But we cannot guarantee the safety of launch and return of our own space flights.

Cloning, Viruses - We can create bio-weapons, new forms of life, play with DNAs and Genes, but we cannot safeguard our species from illnesses and deformities. None of this fits together. Som.ething as simple and as ancient as the common cold still remains untreated

Now, all of this is very odd, as it is impossible to believe these facts.
What if Area 51 is for real?
What if Aliens are here on this Earth living amongst us?
What if we are secretly kidnapping them or holding them as hostages and promising them freedom in exchange for their technology?
What if we have destroyed them and stole their technology, and modifying and using their technology for our purpose and benefit?
None and yet everything among this might be largely possible. Why these questions arise, is the most important questions of them all.
Firstly, it is human nature to take something that we don't have and use it for our benefit. Why do you suppose most wars happen? For resources, for profits... it's all strictly business.
Secondly, we take something that is not our's and label it as ours. Look at countries attacking and acquiring other countries.

These are what the history of humans is built upon. Selfishness drives us to great lengths, and compels us to take some really gruesome steps.

All our tech is really hard to have faith in when we have people like these....

Are we using Alien Tech today? #3

-:VB:-

Previous

There are so many devices that have been churned out from thin air in the past few centuries.
Take the steam engine, or satellites, or automobiles for example. Where were these technologies for the past thousands of years since mankind is on this planet.
Why now?
All of a sudden, it is not possible for us to create something as remarkable as the internet, or wireless telecommunication. If ours is an ever-evolving brain, shouldn't these and millions of ideas have come up in those earlier years? How did we come to possess this unbelievable technology?

If you were to revive an 80s era person from hibernation, and show him this world... how do you think he would react?
Right! He would drive a stake through your heart thinking of you as a vampire, or burn you for witchcraft. :)

Seriously, the person would be devastated.

Think about the flash drive. We haven't found a replacement for something as precious as saving trees, but we have pocket sized Hard drives that can store Zentabytes of data.

Touch screen phones - Might be a tad bit funny, but think over it. How is it possible to develop something so complex and make it yet sooo affordable. How you can touch a screen, and connect to the world?

Automobiles - This is the most obvious one. Inventing a wheel takes thousands of years, but creating a vehicle takes only a few decades? Who believes this crap?

As I go on posting, I am curiouser and curiouser...

Are we using Alien Tech today? #2

-:VB:-

Previous

If you think about it, it's been centuries since the wheel was invented.
Till date I don't believe that there is something as innovative and as creative that has been made by mankind. Of course, we may have reached the moon, but there is no next best thing after the wheel.

There is hardly any evidence of how these ancient technologies came into existence. Take some long lost civilizations for example, like the advancements found at Machu Pichu or devices like the Antikythera mechanism and others.
The scientists are able to explain how these developed after years of research, but developing something even remotely close to this, with so much technology, resources, and ideas, no one has even come close to something that can beat the Wheel!

My belief is that... what if ... these aliens visited our planet before their planet was destroyed, and gave us the idea of the wheel?
OR
If the aliens found out that we were the dumbest in the universe, and they tried to make us smart?
OR

Possibilities are endless. But, the real topic at hand is - do we possess their technology?
I might have to agree on this one for once. I do doubt it!

Are we using Alien Tech today? #1

-:VB:-

Everyone has that tiniest speck of belief within the deepest depths of our minds that aliens do exist in the universe! thanks to the movies and stories, we are now thinking what no mind ever thought before.

Hell, sometimes I don't even know if people are really sane...

Thank you Mr. Spielberg for putting E.T. within our minds and giving us a perspective of how to handle alien life! :P
Thank you Ridley Scott for making us believe that the "Alien" is a very scary creature that will burst our chests to be born into this world.

I would also like to thank the Conspiracy theorists, and those novelists who introduced the terms probing in a... well... in an inappropriate manner. If not for them, I wonder where all this would have ended up...

But, all this does make make you want to think twice about things. We can never be really sure as to how a topic like Aliens came into existence. You never know, it may be true after all....

My doubts arise with the technology that we possess today. Have you ever looked at all those gadgets around you and wondered how they were invented? I mean - you have been on this planet since your birth, but you for sure have not invented any single gadget, let alone a wheel, how do these inventions get invented?

The wheel itself took decades of insanity.... I mean Humanity to evolve.
How do these creations get created? How come we never think of any of this?
Come on... I mean, believing in the billion minds, billion ideas theory is utter nonsense.

For once, even a singing and dancing frog will make sense...

My answer to all of this would be: ALIENS!
